We strongly recommend utilizing assistance and applying the pedal, as the transformation is profound. While aspects such as phrasing, dynamics, and shaping should be entrusted to your instructor, let us consider the pedaling.

The following serves merely as an example. The pedaling suggestions are formulated with the premise that the piece is performed by children whose hands cannot yet reach an octave.

Pedaling Suggestions

• Measure 1: Between beats 1-2, between beats 3-4.
• Measure 2: Between beats 1-2, between beats 3-4.
• Measure 3: Between beats 1-2, no pedal between beats 3-4.
• Measure 4: Between beats 1-2, between beats 3-4.
• Measure 5: Between beats 1-2, the pedal is optional (can be used or not). It is assumed that the notes between beats 1-2 can be connected by fingers even without the pedal. Between beats 3-4.
• Measure 6: Between beats 1-2, no pedal between beats 3-4. The pedal between beats 1-2 is to connect the octaves.
• Measure 7: Between beats 1-2, between beats 3-4.
• Measure 8: No pedal. Connect with fingers.
• Measure 9: Between beats 1-2, between beats 3-4.
• Measure 10: Pedal twice, on beat 1 and beat 2. The pedal between beats 3-4 is optional.
• Measure 11: No pedal. Connect with fingers.
• Measure 12: No pedal between beats 1-2. Apply pedal between beats 3-4.
• Measure 13: No pedal.
• Measure 14: No pedal between beats 1-3. Apply pedal on beat 4 to connect to the next measure (Measure 15).
• Measure 15: Between beats 1-2, between beats 3-4.
• Measure 16: Pedal three times: on beat 1, beat 2, and between beats 3-4.
• Measure 17: No pedal between beats 1-2. Between beats 3-4.
• Measure 18: Throughout the entire measure.
