From the Composer
Piano compositions constitute the most significant domain within my oeuvre. The majority of my works are comprised of piano pieces. The piano was my musical language. The reason for this stems from my spiritual inclination. Having been born and raised in a northern country, I possessed an innate disposition to concentrate expression internally rather than expanding it externally. The piano, which allows a single performer to express everything with ten fingers, was an ideal language for me. Furthermore, the constant support and collaboration of excellent pianists by my side were fateful factors that determined my trajectory.
While "Piano Works 2000-2010" has already been published by Mother Earth Inc., this "Collection II" includes four works composed after the publication of the aforementioned "Collection." Individual works will be discussed in their respective commentaries.
