Within a single plant seed lies the potential for development unimaginable from its small appearance, and each seed fulfills its life through its own given growth process. I have always held a sense of awe for such a force of nature that transcends the individual, and in my compositions, I also aim for expressions that possess a life force transcending the ego. The title, "Germination," is not meant to depict the growth process of a specific plant. Rather, it was given out of a strong yearning for the life force present during germination, and a desire to constantly break through my own shell and improve myself.
