Quasi allegretto

A dance-like idyll, where a cool breeze blows. It sways in a gentle flow, fluctuating between bright and dark keys like a kaleidoscope. The emotionally rich melody in the right hand and the gently accompanying chords in the left hand are harmonious and endearing. The middle section (from bar 17) shifts to a compassionate C major, with the registers of both hands diverging as the music crescendos. Finally, both hands are in the high register, mysteriously whispering the opening idyll.
