The score begins with "Allegro," which is the composer's own marking. This raises the question of how fast it should be played. Choose a tempo that allows for comfortable execution of the 32nd notes appearing in measure 3, between beats 3 and 4, and similar passages. When playing this unit (two 32nd notes followed by one 16th note, totaling three notes), treat these three notes as a single group. Play these three notes quickly, and shorten the final 16th note. This approach will facilitate ease of execution.
The piece begins in C major, modulates completely to A minor in the middle, and then returns to C major. In terms of tension, the A minor section might feel more intense, but this is open to interpretation.
Regarding articulation, a suggestion is to consider playing all or some of the 16th notes staccato, rather than legato.
For instance, play all notes in measures 1-2 staccato, then switch to legato from the 16th note G on the third beat of measure 4, continuing legato until the first 16th note C in the left hand on the first beat of measure 6, and then return to staccato.
Employing staccato will significantly alter the atmosphere.
