Composed in 1834, the piece was published in 1930, in the 20th century. Although not a formal dedication, it was inscribed in Maria Szymanowska's album. It takes the form of an oberek with an inserted kujawiak. A distinctive characteristic is the recapitulation of the introduction at the end of the piece.
