A Short Explanation by the Composer:
"Haifa is a city located on the Mediterranean coast of Israel. When viewed from the sea, the land appears like a large seashell, with Mount Carmel at its highest point along the curve. From the summit of Mount Carmel, old and new roofs form a pattern, descending towards the magnificent, vast semi-circular area of Haifa's port. Many ships are anchored in the port and docked. Herzl Street runs just above the port, traversing the city. Everyone seems to meet in this dazzling, vibrant city center. Various musical and technical ideas have been introduced into this small work."
