This work received the Second Prize in the General Category of the Composition Division at the 2016 Sogakudo Japanese Song Competition.

From the poems of Yagi Jukichi, nine poems were selected whose themes are the illness that led to his premature death and the family he deeply loved, and these were presented as a song cycle. On the first page of this song collection, “My Poem (Dedicated to those who read my poems)” is presented as a poem symbolizing the entire suite.

It was premiered in 2016 at the Millennium Hall of Taito City Lifelong Learning Center, with Tatsuhiko Tsunakawa on vocals and Megumi Tsunakawa on piano.
