While the beautiful nocturne flows seamlessly, an analysis reveals a very clear structure of the piece.

- Afterglow: Measures 73-78 (6 measures)
- B: Measures 79-98 (20 measures)
- A: Measures 99-113 (15 measures)
- Afterglow: Measures 114-117 (4 measures)
- Coda: Measures 118-126
Please pay attention to the sections labeled "Afterglow." This term has been arbitrarily assigned by the author. Each section contains "Afterglow" parts, which are not melodic lines but rather sections where only chords change. The "Afterglow" label was intentionally omitted for the B section. In the B section, after reaching the peak point, triplets are written to slowly diminuendo. While this is not considered "Afterglow," it is indeed a section that fades out.
Performers are encouraged to structure the music by referring to the above analysis; in the "Afterglow" sections, the pedal may be held down for two measures. For example, one pedal for measures 16-17, and another for measures 18-19. The "Afterglow" sections are not meant to be clear, but rather to create a blurred, indistinct depiction. Please play them at ppp.
As mentioned at the beginning, the piece should be performed Sostenuto, taking ample time.
