Born in Yokohama. Completed graduate studies at Tokyo University of the Arts. Studied under Atsutada Otaka.

He has received numerous awards, including the Japan Music Exhibition Composition Prize. He held solo concerts in 2016 and 2017. He was an invited composer for the East Asian International Contemporary Music Festival in 2017 and 2023.

Currently, he is a professor at Utsunomiya University and a member of the Japan Society for Contemporary Music and the Japan Federation of Composers.
