Born in Gunma Prefecture.
After graduating from Prefectural Maebashi Commercial High School, graduated from the Faculty of Business Administration at Asia University. Subsequently, graduated from Tokyo Music & Media Arts Shobi.
Participated in the PMF Orchestra Academy 2008.
Awards and Competitions
- 6th prize at the 1st Japan Horn Competition.
- 3rd prize at the 29th Japan Wind and Percussion Competition.
- Selected in the Brass Section of the 10th and 12th Tokyo Music Competition.
Performed as a soloist with the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra and the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, respectively.
Studies
- Studied horn under Hiroyuki Miyauchi, Hiromi Namiki, Atsushi Sawa, and Yoshiyuki Uema.
- Studied chamber music under Shigeru Ota, Emiko Ikeda, and Yasuaki Itakura.
- Attended masterclasses by Jonathan Hamill and Stefan Dohr.
As a horn player, after serving as Principal Horn of the Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra, is currently based in Tokyo, actively engaged in a wide range of activities including guest performances with domestic orchestras, studio musician work, wind ensemble instruction, and private lessons. Also participated in past Japan tour performances of the Teatro Comunale di Bologna and Teatro alla Scala di Milano.
