Born in Osaka in 1970. In 2006, published "Japanese Electronic Music," followed by an enlarged and revised edition of the same book in 2009 (both by Aiikusha). In 2011, published "Toshiro Mayuzumi's Electronic Music," in 2012 "Makoto Shinohara's Electronic Music," and in 2013 "Japanese Electronic Music, Continued: Interview Edition" (all by engine books). Wrote commentaries for Toshiro Mayuzumi, Joji Yuasa, Yoritsune Matsudaira, Hikaru Hayashi, Maki Ishii, Toshi Ichiyanagi, and Jikken Kobo for the CD series "NHK Gendai no Ongaku Archive Series" (Naxos Japan) (2011-13). From 2011 to 2015, serialized "Toru Takemitsu's Electronic Music" in the magazine "Artes." In 2014, appeared with Junichi Konuma and Masahiro Miwa on NHK E-tele's "Schola Ryuichi Sakamoto: School of Music, Electronic Music Edition." Website: http://kojiks.sakura.ne.jp/
