Composer, teaching artist. Graduated from Kunitachi College of Music. In 1993, they moved to the U.S., studying arrangement methods under Randy A. Earles and performance methods under Clive Swansbourne. They completed coursework in music analysis, American music history, and solfège as a non-degree student at Idaho State University, earning credits in each subject, and performed in university concerts. In 1999, they returned to Japan. They studied counterpoint under Hiroshi Yamaguchi and composition under Keiichi Morigaki and Suguru Kawashima. They completed the Master's Program in Music Theory, Composition Major, at the Graduate School of Kunitachi College of Music, and withdrew from the Doctoral Program in Music Research, Creative Arts Field, at the same university after earning all required credits. In recent years, their activities include educational endeavors such as guiding younger generations and providing piano pieces for children, as well as writing new concepts in music analysis, presenting at academic conferences, and researching American modal theory. Additionally, they are involved in concert activities featuring new contemporary music, including planning, directing, arranging, and performing as a teaching artist at public institutions. They are a member of the Japan Federation of Composers and the Musicological Society of Japan.
