Graduated from the Piano Performance Major, Department of Music, Faculty of Liberal Arts, Doshisha Women's College of Liberal Arts. Subsequently moved to the UK and studied under Professor Sulamita Aronovsky (Professor at the Royal Academy of Music, and Chair of the Jury for the London International Piano Competition), where she learned the Russian piano technique. She passed the Associate of the Royal College of Music (A.R.C.M.) piano performance examination. She compiled seven volumes of original compositions titled "Piano Lessons," based on the Russian piano technique. She published an arrangement of "Grandfather's Clock" for piano duet through Musse, PTNA's online custom-made sheet music sales service.
Since 2007, she has conducted seminars titled "Rational Practice Methods Based on Russian Piano Technique" as part of the PTNA Piano Seminars in various locations.
