Graduated from the Department of Composition, Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts, and its Graduate School.
From 1992 to 1994, studied in France (studied piano and formation musicale under Ms. Odette Gartenlaub, Honorary Professor at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris).
Selected for the Composition Division (Orchestral Works) at the 47th Japan Music Competition (co-sponsored by The Mainichi Newspapers and NHK).
Won third prize at the 2nd Kanagawa Arts Festival Original Choral Works Competition.
Currently, Professor at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music, Lecturer at the Department of Composition, Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts, and a member of the Japan Federation of Composers.
