This work is an arrangement for solo voice and piano of one piece from the women's chorus suite 'Four Songs Dedicated to Life'. For the composer, it was the first work after the Great East Japan Earthquake, and its influence was undeniable. The bewildered state of mind at that time is reflected therein. If one can reach Jung's concept of 'mystical participation,' there would be no greater joy for the composer.
