C major. 3/4 time. The theme, formed by linked three-note motifs progressing stepwise to create gentle ascending and descending lines, seems to represent a gently blowing wind.

Since this piece has strong polyphonic elements, it is advisable to practice each hand separately to internalize the melodies, rather than playing both hands together from the outset. Success is achieved when the independence of the voices is maintained even when both hands are combined.
In both melodies, G is the highest note; therefore, direct the musical line towards this G. Once G is reached, gradually decrease the volume. This will result in the peak points for the left and right hands being staggered. In measure 7, the left hand again reaches G, but this G is for the cadence (final form), so it should not be played loudly.
Strive to practice in a way that ensures the independence of the left and right hands is audible.
