This piece is themed after Osamu Tezuka's popular anime "Astro Boy." However, it was transformed into a completely different musical style by the hand of Rosenblatt. It is said to combine characteristics of a nocturne with elements of jazz. Surprisingly, the request was not made by a Japanese person, but by Mikhail Khokhlow (director of the Gnessin School and a friend of Rosenblatt). And when Nikolai Tokarev visited Japan, he performed this piece as an encore, and the audience was reportedly delighted and it became a topic of discussion due to the unexpected melody that emerged. This appears to have been its world premiere. Then, on March 11, 2005, Rosenblatt's self-performance of his own work was realized during his first concert in Japan.
