Balance between the left and right hands is crucial. Since the left hand marks the strong beats, the music tends to sound vertically divided at this point and does not flow horizontally. The left hand should be played as softly as possible (P), but without becoming too flat.
When repeating, try varying the dynamics, etc.
In measure 5, the right hand has a rapid repetition of D (DDD), which tends to make the sound harsh (as repeated notes inevitably sound detached). If the pedal can be used, it would be ideal to use it momentarily here to allow the D to flow smoothly horizontally. Even if the pedal is not used, play the D as softly as possible and with a gentle touch.
The peak point is between measures 8 and 9. To achieve the maximum volume here, try a gradual crescendo from measure 5. In measure 4 (2nd ending) and measure 12, the left hand plays quarter notes: E-D-C. Since fingers 3-4-5 are likely to be used here, practice these sections to ensure evenness and avoid inconsistencies in articulation.
