Overview of the Collection
Beatles' representative numbers arranged for piano solo. Since these are all masterpieces that transcend eras and genres and will continue to be cherished, it is worthwhile for classical musicians to be able to play them on the piano. As critics both inside and outside Japan have long pointed out, Beatles' songs contain many elements of classical music. This collection skillfully reproduces the framework of each piece with a minimum number of notes, revealing the classical structure inherent in each song. Burgmüller to Czerny Op. 849 (Czerny 30). It serves as good practice for repeated notes and staccato in fast pieces, and for legato and cantabile in slow pieces, making it suitable for use in lessons. Rocherolle dedicated this album to his four adult children (Valérie, Laurent, Damien, Justin). It is also a record of how Rocherolle, a contemporary of Lennon and McCartney, heard the Beatles in real-time, and how that experience was entrusted to the next generation. Only "Here Comes The Sun" was written by George Harrison. All other included pieces were written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney.
