Born in Chiba Prefecture in 1959. She studied piano with Yoko Nakano and Jun Date, and composition and harmony with Akira Terauchi and Manabu Kawai. After graduating from high school, she moved to Germany and studied composition with Ms. Maria Funk. Her major works include published piano collections such as "Ice Castle - Illusion", "Awakening - Quiet Wind", and "Ikaruga". Additionally, her piano collections for children, characterized by delicate sensibility and rich, imaginative lyricism, include:

- "Amusement Park / Spaceship" (Ongaku no Tomo Sha)
- "Grand Animal Parade" (Ongaku no Tomo Sha / CD Fontec)

She is a member of the Japan Federation of Composers and the Music Culture Council.
