A Polish composer. After studying music in Krakow, Leschetizky he made his debut in Vienna under his tutelage. For composition, he studied with Guido Adler in Vienna and Hugo Riemann in Leipzig. He pursued an active career as a pianist, performing throughout America, Europe, and Australia. He gave approximately 3,000 concerts and recitals. His compositions number over 100. He also undertook arrangements and Chopin, Liszt, Schumann the editing of works by Chopin, Liszt, and Schumann.
