Began playing piano at the age of 3 years and 9 months. In 1988, she won the Gold Prize and the Nippon Television Cup at the PTNA Piano Competition A1 Class National Finals. In 1994, she won 3rd prize in the Elementary School Division of the 1st Vienna Music Competition in Japan. At the age of 14, she held her debut solo recital, 'The World of Fantasy'. In 1997, she won 3rd prize at the 1st Carl Czerny International Competition (Prague). In 1998, she received an Encouragement Award at the East Japan Tournament of the Student Music Competition (High School Division), organized by NHK and Mainichi Shimbun. She was selected for the Takarazuka Vega Music Competition. She also received the Grand Prize in the Advanced Division of the Concerto Section at the 21st PTNA Piano Competition National Finals. In spring 2000, she enrolled in the music college Mazer House. She began studying non-classical music such as jazz and fusion through practical training, composition, popular music theory, band ensemble classes, and more. After graduating in 2002, she participated in numerous recordings as a pianist, melodica player, keyboardist, vocalist, composer, and arranger. She also engaged in collaborations and events with various artists from other genres, such as photographers, dancers, and creators, and was featured in the media. In 2005, she won 1st prize in the A1 Category of the Grand Muse Division at the 29th PTNA Piano Competition National Finals. Recently, she has been active as a borderless genre artist, focusing on performances with piano and melodica, jazz arrangements for classical musicians, creative activities, and picture book production in collaboration with photographers. Together with her sister Sayaka, she launched Borderless Music, a music support website for musicians, music students, and music lovers. She has studied piano under Yasumi Taki and Etsuko Tasaki; piano and keyboard under Hiroko Kokubu, Daisaku Kume, and Kenji Ochi; and ensemble under Genji Sawai. Currently, she studies piano and 'Ongaku Yugaku' (Music Study/Play) under Yasumi Taki.
