Born in Saitama Prefecture.
Graduated from École Normale de Musique de Paris.
During her studies, she won third prize at the "UFAM" International Music Competition.
She began her piano studies with the late Kiyomi Iwai, and later studied under Byung-Man Min, Jean Micault, Ahn Yang-shin, and the late Germaine Mounier. After returning to Japan, she studied under Reiko Sakai, Professor Emeritus at Musashino Academia Musicae, who greatly influenced her.
Her first CD, "Arirang," was released at the end of 2009. It features a unique collection of 17 pieces, arrangements of Korean melodies for solo piano. The sheet music for "Arirang," based on the CD, was also published the following year.
In February 2010, she was featured in numerous music magazines, including the monthly "Lesson no Tomo."
"Record Geijutsu" (Record Art) selected it as a "Special Pick" CD in 2010, earning high acclaim.
Her performances include "Let's Play Chopin Concerts," "Classical Concerts," "Tama Cultural International Exchange Concerts," and talk concerts at local schools. She has also appeared in "Sound Zoo Concerts" and "Reconstruction Support Concerts."
In August 2013, her second CD, "Debussy and Korean Melodies," was released.
This album introduces Korean melodies alongside famous Debussy pieces. The second work was selected as a "Semi-Recommended" CD by "Record Geijutsu" in 2013.
From March 2014, her performances from the PTNA Piano Encyclopedia Public Recording Concerts began streaming on YouTube.
Until July 2014, she held CD release commemorative concerts across Japan.
Since 2007, she has presided over "Musashi Piano Class."
