Biography and Education
Born on January 15, 1982, in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. From 1991 to 2001, he studied at the Central Music School affiliated with the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, in the class of M.V. Kandelaki. In 2006, he graduated with honors from the Moscow Conservatory (Prof. Y.S. Slesarev's class), and completed his postgraduate studies in 2009. Since 2008, he has been teaching at the Moscow Conservatory as an assistant to Prof. Y.S. Slesarev. From the 2008-2009 academic year, he has also been active as a soloist and resident artist of the Moscow Philharmonic, featuring Russian musicians. Since 2012, he has served as a Specially Appointed Lecturer at Kurashiki Sakuyo University.
Awards and Recognition
V. Gryaznov is a scholarship recipient of the V. Spivakov International Charity Fund, the Y. Bashmet International Charity Fund, the M. Rostropovich International Charity Fund (G. Neuhaus Memorial Scholarship), and the Yamaha Scholarship. He received the Russian Presidential Award in 1997. He has also won numerous international competitions:
