After enrolling in the doctoral program (Ph.D. course) in Aesthetics and Art History, Graduate School of Letters, Keio University, the individual studied abroad at the University of Vienna (Doctoral dissertation field: Musicology).
In 2017, a doctoral degree (Ph.D. in Philosophy) was obtained from the University of Vienna for research on Beethoven's
string quartets. Research interests include musical activities from the late 18th to 19th centuries, centered on Beethoven (primarily stylistic studies of composers who are now unknown).
Previously, the individual was a recipient of the Austrian Government Scholarship,
the Rohm Music Foundation Scholarship, the University of Vienna Graduation Scholarship.
Since April 2018, the individual has been a Special Research Fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS)
and a part-time lecturer at Keio University and other institutions.
