Takashi Fujii: Completed his graduate studies at Tokyo University of the Arts. Currently a lecturer at Musashino Academia Musicae.
Yoshie Shiramizu: Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts. Currently a lecturer at Kunitachi College of Music.
Both studied at the Mannheim University of Music and Performing Arts in Germany as scholarship students of the Agency for Cultural Affairs and other organizations, graduating with top honors in both the Solo Performance and Piano Duo departments. After forming their duo in Germany in 2004, they have won numerous international awards. They have performed on over 550 stages both in Japan and abroad, and their active performance career, centered on piano duo, has consistently received high acclaim from audiences and music magazines worldwide. In 2015, their 11th year as a duo, they released their 6th CD, "Goldberg Variations for Two Pianos," held a commemorative recital, and were selected as a "Special Recommended Disc" by Record Geijutsu magazine for the third consecutive time. Furthermore, they are dedicated to instructing the next generation in piano duo, holding workshops across the country. As educators who are paving the way for piano duo, including through piano duo seminars co-hosted by the Saitama Arts Theater, further developments are anticipated in their future endeavors.
